Consider 10 sqmt of flooring area
Vitrified tile required = 10 × Sqmt
Watage @ 5% = 10 5% = 0.5 × Sqmt
Vitrified tiles including wastage for 10 sqmt area = 10 + 0.5 + Sqmt
Consider Rate of Vitrified tile = Rs.60/sqft

Total cost of vitrified tiles = 10.5 × 60 × 10.764 = Rs.6,781
Cost of White cement (Rs.50/sqmt) = 10 × 50 = Rs.500

Cement sand bedding of 40mm thickness in CM 1:4
Volume of mortar = 10 × 0.04 = 0.4 Cum
Add 40% for dry to wet volume = 0.4 × 40% = 0.16 Cum
Total Volume of mortar = 0.4 + 0.16 = 0.56 Cum
No.of cement bags = 0.56 (1+4) = 0.11/0.035 + 3.2 bags
Rate of cement bag Rs.280/

Amount of cement required = 3.2 × 280 = Rs.896

Sand in cum = (0.56/(1+4)) × 4 = 0.45 Cum
Rate of crushed sand = Rs.3000/brass
3000/2.83 = Rs.1060/Cum

Amount of sand required = 0.45 × 1060 = Rs.475
Total Material cost = 6781 + 500 + 896 + 475 = Rs.8,652
Add transportation cot, tools, tackles & consumable @ 5% = 8652 × 5% = Rs.433
Add 1% for safety = 8652 × 1% = Rs.87
Subtotal = 8652 + 433 + 87 = Rs.9171

Labour rate for vitrified tile flooring is Rs.20/sqft
Labour cost = 10 × 20 × 10.764 = Rs.2153
Subtotal = 9171 + 2153 = Rs.11,324
Add 15% for OH & Profit = 11324 × 15% = Rs.1,699

Amount for 10 sqmt of vitrified tile flooring = 11324 + 1699 = Rs.13,023
Rate per sqmt for vitrified tile flooring = 13023/10=Rs.1302
